On January 16th 2020 participants of the WIN Guard Meeting held in Borås offered wonderful contributions to the topic: First Responders 2.0. The first WIN meeting of 2020 was a great success. Inspiring speakers presented the potential of smart textiles and sensors in clothes. Further, three parallel workshops were held, aiming to find answers to the question: How could we save more lives if we were more protected, connected and fully aware?

Special thanks to our host Smart Textiles, whose facilities were spectacular and provided a pro-active and inspiring environment where the need of making a change in the areas of next-generation textiles and sustainability was highlighted.

Leo Wu from Lumeo Technology summarized his impression of the event: “Ten minutes after arriving we were already talking with potential partners that were in need of our attachment solution for wearables & IoT. Throughout the event, we gained insights about the needs and challenges of first responders and met forward-thinking people across a couple of industries, which resulted in a dozen of new leads for our company.” Such positive responses are the driving force for us to provide you with further collaboration opportunities at our meetings.

See you at the next WIN Guard Meeting on April 23rd 2020!
