LTH – Faculty of Engineering contributes to increasing knowledge of high relevance in engineering, architecture and industrial design.

The activities in WIN Guard are mainly supported by the division for fire safety engineering. The division of fire safety engineering at Lund University has a long history in fire science and in the education of fire protection engineers. It has also a Fire Laboratory which is part of LTH open door initiative allowing access to for industry and governmental bodies for innovation and internal research. The fire laboratory consists of two labs located on the Lund University campus and one large scale tunnel facility at Revinge (operational fall 2019).
